Louise Macdonald Millinery

When ever I am in Melbourne as I am now a Far North Queenslander, I always love giving Louise Macdonald a call at the beginning of the year to let her know I am going to come down to Melbourne to go ahead in one of her courses during the not so busy season for myself.  When chatting to Louise, even though modestly Louise says it is not about winning just the recognition of people admiring her millinery, she admits it was a thrill coming in a tide 1st Runner Up in the Millinery Award at Melbourne Cup Carnival 2011.  With 2012, being year of the hat, why not give yourself the opportunity to learn this amazing skilled craft with Louise and a small group of friends that will soon be millinery besties.  The building where you learn is simply buzzing with Artistic people and fantastic secret shops.  This seems to be a little millinery hub where I often catch up with friends then head around the corner to our favourite little cloth shop with the lot, Cleggs.  Make sure you check out Louise's website and here are a few of her wonderful creations.
