As you all know I am very openly enthusiastic about millinery and wearing hats. Not only is this marvelously fashion forward especially for Melbourne, Sydney Winter but Summer in Australia it is a simple necessity. This year if you purchase one piece of couture, make it a stand alone single statement that will last a lifetime. This year I would love if more people embraced the love of hats the way I do and wear one at least once a week. This does not only make you feel really special and extra well dressed, it is showing that you are giving back to the community of milliners and hat makers and hopefully if enough of us start doing it, it will become trend again. Kate Moss does it, Nicole Richie does it, even Kim Kardashian does it.
With all the excitement of the royal wedding and having the wonderful Philip Treacy hit our shores. If anytime was 'Hat Time', It is now. Duchess Katherine is not the only one who loves to wear hats, we do too!
