Racing Fashion at Beautiful Girls Fashions Luncheon and Some Famous Faces

Today is one of my favourite day, it is mum and me day. I have a whole 3 hours besides shooting the parade of talking girl stuff with my mum without children screaming, and with ladies who love to dress up and have a great day out. I am yet to give the Myer Runway Race Wear Report, but it is mainly opaque hosiery and tones, few colours, but when they are on, they pop.
It was fabulous to see the Millinery Award Winner from last year, 'ANISS' take over the stage in every way and make everyone's jaw drop with her stand alone Millienry. I take nothing away from the designers and other Milliners on parade, but WOW! When we want to bring Millinery forward to now and beyond, this lady is doing the job beautifully.
Every year I come to the 'Beautiful Girls Luncheon at Flemington', I see an increase of headwear and ladies all ages, sizes and shapes looking fantastic.
I love the friendships that I have gained over the years with different ladies I have sat at the table with and forging new friendships. So happy to share a lovely day with my mum at the races. This is what Racing Fashion is all about. Not all Fashions on the Field but enjoying with people who love horses, the races and feeling fantastic. Thank you all for a great day.

Thomas Carr from MKR, What is he really like???

I don't like him at all, I love him. I think that the camera work and editing people have done a huge injustice to the wonderful Tomas Carr from My Kitchen Rules. Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas and Carla and they were both totally lovely and down to earth. I have heard on the radio that they are having him on this evening and they are going to say that he is a disliked person. I find this really horrible. He is a really decent person and actually told a friend and myself, I am really not as horrible as they make me out to be. My heart sank for him. I am sure that we have all been in a position where others have given an opinion about us and most of us have the dignity not to even have to justify ourselves. This poor man has been made out to be a manipulator through a competition and I feel sorry for him. In my opinion, I think he is just a guy who has gone on a reality TV show and he has not been taught about how to watch out for how stations get their ratings. Hugs and Kisses to Thomas Carr, I think you are fabulous and an all around great guy. xxxxx
