Etal Stores Melbourne
Well sometimes you just know a classic when it is not a particular fashion item, but it is fashionably chic without statement. I was first introduced to this label when Oscar Calvo had his catwalk circus and could see all the wonderful attire including a concept from Anthony Capon one of my favourite Melbourne designers. Someone whom I love to frequent a doorstep out the front of Madam Virtue and smooch the Madam Maude. The clothes are nonchalantly immersed in Melbourne-esque fashion with mostly tones not colours taking centre stage, but I am in love with the way every piece is a classic that will stay in your wardrobe forever and the designers are acutely aware of a REAL woman's figure and how they want to be perceived. Etal is a label for the true lover of Melbourne and Indie design with edge and does not say sorry for the draping in all the right places. Etal, you are eternally my Label. xxxxx

Oscar Calvo, Fashion Connect, LMFF
Well the extent of my Fashion Week in Melbourne consists of catching up with fantastic friends at Oscar Calvo's Fashion Connect. After 'Beautiful Girls Luncheon' at Flemington, time for cuddles with the kids and Power Nap, then off the the Carlton for Great Fashion, Great Friends and talkin and walkin. Thank you so much Danica Erard or her millinery Fashion for a Cause, Red Ribbon Hat, (Aids Awareness). Watch this space and everything millinery because the new couture limited editions are coming.
Oscar Calvo did not disappoint, I thought that lugging a goody bag equaling a gym workout up flight of stairs was crewel, but the only thing that would have been crewel was not to go home with one of my favourite ever goody bags. Many fabulous faces in the crowd, and now leaving my correspondent for Racing Fashion 'The Queen of Style' to take my place at Fashion Week due to illness and upcoming operation. A huge thank you. Mwah!!!!!
