The weather in Australia is heating up
and so is the Gold Coast to highlight the trends of the season to
come.
Magic Millions being a one of the world
richest horse sales yards, we also see the presence of the Colour and
Glamour of the Gold Coast presented to us on stage to be 'Myer, Magic
Millions, Fashions on the Field'. This year I am expecting still to
see the hints of Fluro but beginning to show us what we will be able
to embrace coming into Autumn Racing Carnival and what will forge the
seasons ahead.
Melbourne is well known as the 'Fashion
Capital' of Australia, but I am seeing further evidence that maybe
Queenslanders may be the most Fashion Savvy at the track. Tricia
Molochino took over Tasmaina a Far North Queenslander, Amy Robson
wowed crowds in Melbourne taking the major prize as winner of
Australian, 'Myer Fashions on the Field' and not to forget Amanda
Macor won the Victorian final on Oaks Day and Runner up on Melbourne
Cup Day. These ladies are studying their fashion and know their
business so keep your fashion high ladies as no Queenslander will
give away their title easily.
Magic Millions besides being a
fantastic place to find a prize champion with the help of a great
trainer, it is also the Fashion Central for me to capture all the
most beautiful frolicking fillies in the land of all ages shapes and
sizes. I will be looking for outstanding headwear, elegance and
grace whilst walking, (although it is ok to blame the footpath bumps
after one or two champagnes) and attention to detail. Hair up is a
must in Summer Heat, (while always in my books) as there is nothing
worse than seeing dangles locks in a sweaty mess, eeewwww!
Sunscreen, Don't leave home without it.
