There is something so special about Royal Ascot and I think it is the head to toe brilliance that every lady who steps onto course no matter what age, looks spectacular.  Yes, the Australian's may be a little more modern in the steps of the way we dress, but the way the ladies of Britain at every age look so polished and refined that elegance oozes from their being.
I love all our Australian ladies, although I do think the availability to purchase great quality garments is very limited.  When glancing through these ladies, they are all ages, but their look is timeless and of pure British poise.

I am absolutely obsessed with images that are unposed and of the greats of yesteryear of still a great.

I love moments that the eyes are far away where the dreams and thoughts of individuals are not focused or forced into a camera. Today Models are told to be strong and look down the lens.
For some reason I love to see the times where movie stars were the celebrities and the pop culture was so different from today.  Hence the love of Andy Warhol.  There is so much genius and beauty in just being and not having to make a statement.  I find these images that I have sourced from different places as intriguing as I do.
