Congratulations to the gorgeous Mildred Elwood from Queensland taking out the most coveted title during Autumn Carnival, Super Saturday 'Myer Fashions on the Field' at Flemington. Mildred was the stand out winner in an equine print with a beautiful Karen Valentine leather bloom, from 'The Hat Box' in Brisbane. Mildred's grace and elegance on stage was a huge surprise to her, but not to us. Mildred is now heading to Dubai to attend the fashions on the field and we wish her every good luck. This tour is run by the wonderful Jennie Bartels from Women in Racing Charity Organisation, where Mildred will be meeting the Sultan and a Prince. Gasp everyone, is that not so fabulous!
Close runner up was a gorgeous Bianca Barnes, that cut a very clean equine inspired look with beautiful bit embellished gloves and Amy La Rocca came 2nd runner up. Today was a fabulous day for all involved. I am so sorry to my gentlemen friends that I was unable to shoot the gentlemen's event as I was feeling unwell, but I did catch Luke Dennehy in a smart pair of new shades not used to the camera pointed on him and the wonderful Kris Smith and I shared baby photos and talks of the 10th Tee and Crocs on my property in Far North Queensland.
